My name is Garry Meehan and I am a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC).
Before training as a life coach, I spent many years as a teacher in inner-city schools, but my working life has also encompassed tree surgery, artisan leather-making and designing and making wooden furniture. As such, I understand the psychological and practical resources we need to make changes in our lives.
Many people reach a stage where they feel stuck or confused about how and when to move forward. If this sounds like you, I can support you, using a range of proven tools and techniques, to explore new possibilities and help you rediscover your true values and passions.
Sessions may be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, with an option to coach outdoors, or speak on Zoom.

Why choose me?
Communication: Effective communication is essential for building rapport, exploring emotions and providing feedback. As an educator, I have learned to convey information in a clear and engaging way.
Problem-solving: My background in teaching has involved finding solutions creatively and with attention to detail. I can help clients identify obstacles, brainstorm solutions and design action plans.
Empathy: I have worked with a broad range of people from different backgrounds, cultures and of all ages, enabling me to bring a deep sense of understanding to my coaching practice.
Creativity: As a maker of artisan leather pieces, I have a creative mindset that can be applied to coaching. I can help you think outside the box and explore new possibilities.
Coaching outdoors: Being in nature is proven to be highly beneficial, mentally and physically. I offer the opportunity to allow the natural environment to support our decision-making. Walking with a client can be side-by-side, or even on the end of a phone, each in our own green space.

Relationships: Helping you improve communication skills, establish boundaries, and enhance your relationships with partners, family and colleagues, providing tools and strategies for resolving conflicts and building trust.

Next Steps
Step 1: Contact me for a free 30-minute Discovery call via Zoom. This will give us the opportunity to talk, raise questions and assess our suitability.
Step 2: The coaching process depends on your goals. Some clients may achieve these in 5-10 sessions over 3-4 months, while others may wish to meet more or less frequently, the choice is yours.
